Craft and grow your own herbal apothecary! Join Jenny Hauf, owner of Muddy River Herbals, as we learn how to make botanical medicine from plants you can grow in your garden. Jenny explains the basics of herbal medicine making while demonstrating how to make tinctures, salves, infused vinegars and honeys, and tea blends. Participants will create and take home their own tea blend.
This class is the second to last in a series on herbal medicine. The other classes include An Introduction to the Medicinal Herbs of New England (January 27), Creating a Beautiful, Aromatic, and Practical Herb Garden (February 10), and Deliciously Healing Mocktails and Cocktails (March 3).
