Join us at Harvard's Countway Library of Medicine as we celebrate the end of their community garden's growing season. We'll be selling lots of goodies from the farm including tea blends, salves, and freshly harvested goodness. This event is a great way to connect with Boston's herb-loving community during the richest time of the year. See you there!
From the gardeners:
In 2017, the Countway Community Garden hosted a bigger event that featured local businesses and alternative/integrative medicine practitioners, massage, herbal medicine and urban farming vendors, including interest and attendance by; Bootstrap Compost, Harvard Center for Wellness & Health Promotion, Muddy Rivers Herbals, Harvard Sustainability, Whole-istic Living (Reiki), HMS Nutrition Department, Lavandoula Birth Support, Bodyscapes Fitness at the NRB, Harvard Food Literacy Project, Harvest Co-op, and the Urban Farming Institute. There is food and drink available for everyone and live music.
The Harvest Celebration opens the garden up to connect a much larger community and we hope to meet more of you at the 2018 event!
This celebration marks the end of our growing season. While a few plants may still give effort, most of the other beds will be preparing to over-winter by those volunteers that tend them.
Join us on September 20th, 4pm, in the Countway Community Garden!
The entrance is just underneath the entrance to Countway Library. Learn more and rsvp here!
